What is Animal Communication?
Have the Conversation You’ve Always Wanted!
Working with an Animal Communicator allows you to gain a deeper understanding of your beloved companion.
As intimate parts of our lives, our animal companions observe and feel everything that goes on in their environment and interact in different ways with every member of a family. When sharing our lives with animals, issues arise that are often perplexing, irritating or even life-threatening. It is my job to translate and to facilitate clarity around the situation and/or the behavior.
During sessions, I sometimes incorporate energy work to release blocked energy involved with physical and behavioral problems. Often, big problems arise out of simple misunderstandings. Other times animals may need help to release trauma or whatever is creating their current problem, whether physical or emotional. Energy work can help with this.
Animals are masters at reading energy, which gives them a deep understanding of what is happening in their environment—like the way a herd of horses or a pack of wolves observes and responds to the natural world. A conversation with an animal opens opportunities for you to understand family or personal dynamics as animals see them. Their way of keeping the energy moving may be exactly the problematic behaviors or situations driving you crazy.
Like us, each animal is an individual with their own personality. Some are open and chatty, while others may need coaxing. Some are natural comics. Most are thankful to be truly heard and seen. You can count on them to be present to whatever arises and to accept you wholeheartedly and unconditionally— like a best friend.
Hi, I’m Neave!
I’ve been talking to animals for as long as I can remember. As a child, I thought everyone did. They were my confidants and guides when I found my human family confusing.
In 6th grade, my dog became my therapist. Our daily sessions were early morning walks around a nearby lake. I lamented about the state of my family unrestrained by the need to accurately describe in words what I was feeling and perceiving. I felt what I felt and expressed my thoughts and intuited observations freely. Essentially, I was speaking her language and the language of all animals, the language of energy.
My dog listened to me and acknowledged that what I was observing was accurate and real. These walks and the talks with my dog were both nature therapy and psychotherapy. Each time I returned with a deeper understanding of myself, my dog and my family. I felt more connected and peaceful.
Throughout my life I’ve continued this practice—with different dogs and in different places. I’ve been tenderly guided and held by nature and the animals living with me. I am paying it forward through HeartSong.
Since 2006 I’ve worked as an animal communicator, healer, Reiki practitioner and ceremonialist. This work involves interspecies dialogue, guiding ceremonies, teaching classes and healing, all allowing clients to deepen their relationships with themselves, animals and the natural world.
As a ceremonialist, I have participated in and led numerous ceremonies. I’ve led sweat lodge ceremonies, healing ceremonies involving animal, plant and stone medicine. As a perpetual student of energy, I continue to participate in ongoing classes that increase my awareness, capacity, and competency in holding sacred space for transformation.
I am passionate about healing and deepening the human–animal connection
to enable fuller and more harmonious relationships between us.
I look forward to connecting with you and your beloved animal companions!

“I asked the animals, my totem and spirit animals for reflections of who I am and this is what came back to me...
A hostess of sacred space for interspecies dialogue and energy healing.

A steward of the natural world honoring and celebrating animals as sentient beings and wise teachers.
A resonator of energy–when I connect with an animal I tune to the animal’s frequency, like tuning a radio to different stations. I resonate with the animal’s vibration and see, hear and feel in my body what the animal is experiencing.
A translator for the animals.
An interpreter of messages from the Divine Realms decoding hidden mysteries and meaning.
A witness.
A Shaman in sacred play with the natural world.
A teacher.
A library of resources.
A ceremonialist weaving the animal, mineral, plant and spiritual worlds together—creating sacred space for people to do process work and honor life. “
